Terminology
Allocation
Allocation refers to the distribution of resources across users and departments within a project’s bid.
Bid
A bid functions as a subdivision of the resource pools within a project’s budget.
Budget
Budgets act as high-level resource pools within a project.
Client
Client refers to the name of an individual, group, or organization, for whom work is being performed.
Code
Code is a shorthand title for a named thing, usually following a specific format.
Component
A component represents a logical unit in a project, which can vary based on project type. They can be generally described as a particular element within a project or system.
Component Category
Component categories are a classification of components defined by their shared functionality. They are the most superior, high-level organizational structure to a component or component type.
Component Type
Component types are another layer of grouping used to further organize components.
Department
A department is a collection of users within an organization who share similar responsibilities.

Event
Also known as Scheduler Event
An event is the main UI element in the Scheduler interface. It denotes an activity—typically a task or other responsibility—that occurred over a period of time, rounded to the nearest 15 minute interval.
Header Nav Bar

Issue
Issues are problems that users wish to flag with other members of their team.
Issue Type
Issue types are a layer of grouping used to organize and categorize issues raised by users of an organization.

Project Type
Project types are a layer of grouping used to further classify and organize projects.

Side Nav Bar
The side nav bar is the column of elements located on the left side of the screen in many areas within Envisage.
Skill
A skill is a particular ability to do something, typically tied to a piece of software.
Status
A status signifies the level of completion of a specific item for tracking purposes.
Task
A task is a section of work that is typically assigned to a user.
Task Template
A task template is a framework for task creation that is utilized during the creation of components. When a component is created, users have the option to pick a template that will generate tasks according to the desired template.
User
A user is any individual member of an organization.
Work Order
Work orders are any tasks associated with a component. These tasks represent executional items under a component. They can be attached to any pipeline/process steps in a parent/child relationship, or be independent.
